Pam Korth, Director, graduated from Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, Nebraska, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Pam is in her thirty-second year of teaching. She is currently the music specialist at Ann K. Heiman Elementary School in District 6. Pam is one of the original directors of GCC and is now in her twenty-first year with the choir. She and her husband, Joe, have two children, Michael and Sarah.

Kris Pierce, Director, is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree and a Master of Arts degree in Elementary Education. Kris also has her Level III Orff Certification. She is in her twenty-third year of teaching music in District 6 and currently teaches kindergarten through fifth grades at Jackson Elementary School. Kris is in her sixteenth year with GCC. Larry and Kris have five children, Jenn, Annie, Steven, Max and Simone.

Darlene James, Director, is a graduate of New Mexico State with a Bachelor of Music Education degree and holds a Master of Music Education degree from the University of Northern Colorado. She has completed the Orff Schulwerk certification program at Colorado State University. Darlene has been in music education for twenty-nine years and currently teaches at Meeker Elementary School in District 6. Darlene and her husband Jerry have two children, Brianna and Jared.

Sue Davis, Director, originally from Canada, Sue, received a Bachelor of Music degree in Honors Music Education from the University of Western Ontario. She is an Associate of the Royal Conservaof Music and also holds a Master’s Degree in Music Education from the University of NortColorado. Sue is currently the choir specialist at Rocky Top Middle School in the Adams 12 scdistrict. Sue has two children, Samantha and Brian, who are current GCC singers

Briana Sosna, Assistant, was born and raised in Colorado. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Music Education and she has completed her Orff Level III Certification. Briana is in her fourth year of teaching. She is currently the music specialist at Scott Elementary in School District 6. In her spare time she performs and choreographs for the Union Colony Dinner Theatre.

Peter Romero, Accompanist, graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Music degree in Theory and Composition. He has performed with the UNC Concert Choir, UNC Men’s Glee Club, and Greeley Chamber Choir. As a child, he worked under GCC founder Dr. Kay Copley in some of her local musical productions. He is currently a keyboardist at St. Peter’s and St Mary’s Catholic Churches in Greeley.

Heather Waters, Accompanist, was born and raised in Alaska and holds bachelor’s degrees in music education and piano performance from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. After completing a M.M. in piano performance at Ithaca College, she moved to Greeley where she is currently teaching elementary general music. She recently completed her Level III Orff Certification Program at UNC.
