Get Involved
Since 1990 the GCC has been training the unchanged voices of children
grades 3 through 8. We have performed in our community, bringing smiles
and tears of joy at holiday events, churches, dedications and
farewells. The GCC sings annually at the Greeley Independence Stampede, a
UNC Bears football game, a Colorado Rockies game and other community
events. Some of the highlights of years past include performances at the
Vietnam Wall, Drums Along the Rockies and in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Our
commitment to excellence has given us recognition locally, state wide
and internationally.

Become a Singer
The benefits of being in the Greeley Children’s Chorale are immeasurable. The obvious reward is performing in a very talented vocal music group with others who share the joy of singing. Children also grow in the areas of self-discipline, team-work and commitment. We believe the Greeley Children’s Chorale is a unique opportunity for all children. We hope you will consider joining this extraordinary choral group!
Auditions for the 2011-2012 season will be held May. The Greeley Children’s Chorale consists of two auditioned choral groups: the Peak Performers and Summit Singers. The Peak Performers are selected from children who will be in the 5th – 8th grade in the upcoming school year. Children who will be in 3rd – 6th grade and who will be at least 8 years of age may audition for the Summit Singers. In your audition, you will be asked to sing "America” ("My country ‘tis of thee…”) 1st verse only. You will also be asked to sing the melody with provided accompaniment and to echo sing a series of tones.

As a non-profit organization all members of our GCC family must dedicate many hours of their time to fundraising. We rely on the support of our donors to provide for the future of the chorale.
