STARS CONCERT (SUMMIT AND PEAK): The next concert of our season, for Summit and Peak (Valley does not perform at this concert), is this coming Saturday, February 4th at 3:00 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church (1800 21st Ave). Singers need to arrive at 1:30 dressed in their formal uniforms (Remember that all singers need to wear black socks and hair should be pulled out of faces with black hair accessories). Doors to the sanctuary will not open until 2:40. Don't forget to browse the silent auction in the Fellowship Hall while you wait!
SILENT AUCTION: We are so grateful for all the items donated so far! Any items for the auction need to be turned in tomorrow night. If you haven't had a chance to bring something, here is a list of things we still need to complete some of our baskets:
Hair ties or clips
Bath and Body Items
Craft Supplies
Lotto Scratch Tickets
Jack Daniels
Margarita Mix
Coffee gift cards
Cozy socks
We could also use a few more empty baskets or containers. You are also still welcome to put together a basket or provide any other item/s or service of your choice. Thank you for your help and support! We appreciate all of you very much! SUMMIT SINGERS-IMPORTANT INFORMATION We are partnering with District 6 to host an elementary school choral music festival on Tuesday, February 21st, at the Union Colony Civic Center from 11:00 am through a concert that begins at 6:00 pm. We are thrilled to have school choirs from many of the elementary schools in town signed up to participate! We would love for every Summit Singer to participate to make this as successful as possible! So, what does this mean for you and your singer? 1. You will need to excuse your singer from school to attend the workshop during the day. 2. You will need to provide transportation for your singer to UCCC and they should arrive no later than 10:45. 3. Your singer needs to wear their blue polo shirt and jeans. They will wear this for the concert as well. 4. Your singer will need to bring a lunch. A pizza dinner will be provided before the concert. 5. Come at 6:00 pm to hear an amazing concert where some of the choirs and our Summit Singers will perform individually and then all the choirs will perform together! 6. NEW INFO: Each Summit Singer will receive two tickets to this sold-out event unless they are in their school choir that is also performing, then they will get them from their school. We are asking for you to please let us know if your Summit Singer will be participating. You can email Tonia to let us know. Parents, we could also use some help on this day, if any of you are available. We need help supervising lunch time between 11:30-12:00 and help serving pizza at 5:00 and supervising dinnertime. We could also use some extra hands throughout the day. If anyone can offer an hour or two, please let us know. VALLEY VOICES: Valley families, remember that the second half of your tuition ($75) was due on January 9th. If you haven't paid that, please do so as soon as possible. You can pay online through the portal or pay in person with cash or check at rehearsal.
GCC SWAG: We have reopened our GCC Swag Shop with GoJo's! The online store will remain open until February 15th, and we will receive all the products by March 1st. I will have my sweatshirt on at rehearsal tomorrow night if anyone wants to see what it looks like in person! This is completely optional but a fun way for kids to show off their involvement with GCC!
